Once a fighting force, ‘Twiggy’ has now returned to the garden from whence she came. Constructing her was a very therapeutic process once I got to grips with it. This was intended to be a sculpture from Nature destined to return to her roots…hmm…

For a while, Twiggy somehow became a kind of mascot and joined us for a few of our Art exhibitions.

Although she has become a little bedraggled, in April’s rain, she’s also getting reacquainted with the wildlife, especially the birds (it is nesting time after all) and I don’t doubt a few spiders have climbed on board too!

Who knows…maybe one day there will be another sword bearer?
