Out with the rubbish

Slap on the gesso and get rid of it. It's not working, you don't like it, it's been propped up against the wall for over a year. That's a dead canvas waiting to to be reborn. And if it's full of texture or collage - even better. Use its former life to add interest or to inspire your new artwork. Now you have more space, less anxiety and some new joy. And if this one's rubbish too - get the gesso out again.
