The Hottest New Gallery in Fowey

Lugging trollies full of artwork, fans and bottles of water up and down the streets of Fowey is no easy task. Steps, slopes, more steps, slopes and finally, oh wow, the cutest little gallery you could imagine. Watch your head. Too late. Having just dodged a seagull deposit, Anne-Marie is the first to knock her bonce on the door and she's not the tallest. I am on my guard. Oh and more steps into the gallery. The heatwave is kicking in and we debate stashing water in the mini fridge - in the mini gallery. But it's gorgeous, small, but gorgeous. WIthin two hours we've carefully curated and stuffed the shelves with small artworks and ceramics and curious little bits and bobs. Fabulous. Now for some customers - and they are coming in , chatting, admiring and one can only hope a purchase or two will be made before the week is out - or we just melt.
